John D McMahon is an entrepreneurial-oriented video communications professional with deep knowledge and experience in planning, designing, and implementing cutting-edge multimedia solutions that address business communication needs using an integrated background in art, technology, and communication.

As a writer and director, he has written executive speeches for live and on-camera presentations and produced programs in the U.S. and Europe. For 15 years, he worked in the broadcast industry as an editor and directed the operations of a successful television production facility in Hollywood, CA.

John is an accomplished and award-winning multimedia producer with over 35 years of experience since graduating from USC with a degree in Cinema and Television Production. He is thoroughly familiar with all aspects of film, television, and video production, with core capabilities as a writer, storyboard illustrator, cameraman, editor, and music composer. As an experienced, well-rounded professional with creative, technical, and managerial skills, John is highly motivated and known for strong interpersonal communication skills. He is a detail-oriented thinker who desires perfection in all aspects of his work. He enjoys ongoing learning and is passionate about working with people and exploring new technologies.

John has produced and directed almost every kind of film and digital content, including television specials, trailers, and EPKs for motion pictures, direct-response infomercials, broadcast commercial spots, music videos, corporate promotional and training content, and multi-camera event productions.

John’s passion as a filmmaker is matched by his production-planning and post-production abilities. This combination allows him to produce top-quality content that consistently exceeds his clients’ goals.

Current projects in development include two scripted one-hour dramatic series – THE ART STEALERS and GHOSTWALKER. Other projects include an IMAX 3D 70mm presentation on China and a feature film adaptation of Lou Dantzler’s A PLACE TO GO/A PLACE TO GROW – the story of how the Challengers Boys and Girls Club was created in South Central Los Angeles.

In addition to his work in direct response television and corporate multimedia, John has written several special interest broadcast and non-broadcast campaigns for a number of non-profit organizations. His first magazine article appeared in 2001. Since that time he has contributed to a wide variety of domestic and international publications. ABILITY magazine invited John to participate at the United Nations 5th International Conference on the Rights for People with Disabilities where he spoke on a panel discussion of using Social Media to Cause Social Reform.

John has created visual designs for the Taco Bell Corporation, special effects director Hitoshi Inoue, Studio PMG, and producer Donald P. Borchers. His interests include history, music, fine art, literature, learning languages, fitness and aikido.

As the Creative Director at NeoMedix Corporation, I continue to push the boundaries of marketing, publicity, and education using new media technologies. My collaborations with industry icons like Sylvester Stallone and Kurt Russell have enriched my understanding of visual storytelling, while my passion for music composition, black-and-white photography, and teaching piano add depth to my creative pursuits.
